Jungkook BTS posted an Instagram Story with the song he was listening to. His musical recommendations made the musician, Justin Park, famous overnight.
Since creating their own account, the members of BTS (Bangtan Boys) have learned all the ways to use the platform. Jungkook recently received attention for using his account to promote other musicians.
On December 16, Jungkook posted an Instagram Story with the song he is currently listening to. In the post, he shared the song "On the Low" popularized by LA-based artist Justin Park with the caption, "The song is really good."
After Jungkook posted it, ARMYs around the world quickly wanted to know all about this artist Jungkook was listening to. Within hours, both the songs "On the Low" and "Justin Park" started trending on the Korean music streaming platform Melon. His Instagram followers also jumped from 49,900 to over 57,000.
Justin Park realized what had happened, and re-shared a video of him singing BTS' song "Butter" and adding the words, "Thanks Jungkook BTS. I've always been a fan." He also expressed his happiness on Twitter.
Justin then shared another video, personally thanking Jungkook for posting the song. "Guys, I don't know what happened, but I'm so happy and Jungkook, thank you. Thank you so much. BTS, thank you, you guys do amazing things for people like us."
Justin then shared how grateful he is to the fans who have supported him throughout his nine years of making music. Considering how much work and dedication oa puts into music, it's nice to see it getting recognition.
It wasn't long before Justin Park finally realized personally the power and influence of BTS after his social media growth went insane, alongside notifications on Twitter.
Justin Park himself is a fan of BTS. Last November, he posted a picture on Instagram and fans saw that he was wearing the headband of Cooky, which is Jungkook's BT21 character.
