CIX is currently known to be busy preparing for their comeback. The boy group made by C9 Entertainment will continue their "Hello" series with a new chapter in the album titled "Hello, Strange Time". The CIX comeback album will be released on June 30th.
Some album content such as concept teasers have been released by the agency. However, nearing the date of the comeback, fans should get some unpleasant news. Today, Wednesday (6/24), the agency announced that the CIX comeback had to be delayed.
C9 Entertainment shared through an official statement that the postponement of the comeback was due to one of the members, Bae Jinyoung, suffering from an ankle injury. In the statement the doctor suggested that Jinyoung needed time to recover.
As a result, the album, originally scheduled for June 30, will be postponed. New plans for the release of this album will be announced at a later time. The following is the agency statement:
"Hello. This is C9 Entertainment. We regret to inform you that perilisa, CIX 3RD EP ALBUM EP 'HELLO' Chapter 3. 'Hello, Strange Time' will be postponed. CIX member Bae Jinyoung suffered a slight ankle injury during choreography training on Sunday week. first June and received a diagnosis from a doctor that he must avoid excessive movement.
We are trying to prepare for the upcoming comeback performance with enough rest without a heavy schedule. Unfortunately, his ankle dislocated again during the last practice for choreography. He visited the hospital and received a medical examination.
As a result of ankle distortion, he received a final diagnosis that he must avoid excessive movement for 3 weeks and get physiotherapy with pharmacotherapy to recover from injury. This morning, Bae Jinyoung received treatment at a professional hospital. Also, the doctor gave us additional opinion about the difficulty of continuing with the plan that was originally scheduled to be continued next week.
Because we place the highest priority on the health and condition of the artist, we decided to postpone the upcoming new album which was originally scheduled to be released on June 30th. Additionally, new release dates and schedules for any content will be announced again.

The album "Hello, Strange Time" itself will contain a total of 5 songs that have different genres. The five songs are "Move My Body", "Jungle" which are the main songs, "Change Me", "Switch It Up", and "Rebel". What's interesting to note is that CIX will work with the same composer and producer of the two previous songs from their debut album series "Hello, Stranger" and "Hello, Strange Place".
