In a press conference '#ALIVE' which was held on Monday (6/15), Park Shin Hye discussed various interesting things about her character in this film. The film, which also stars Yoo Ah In, is planned to be released on June 24th.
The film "#ALIVE" will soon be released in theaters. Ahead of the premiere schedule that is getting closer, the production team is increasingly aggressively conducting promotions by holding a press conference on Monday (6/15). The event was attended by two main actors, namely Park Shin Hye and Yoo Ah In.
During the press conference, Park Shin Hye discussed various interesting things about her character named Yoo Bin. Yoo Bin himself is described as one of the isolated survivors due to a zombie outbreak that occurred in the city. To survive, he communicates with other victims through walkie talkies.
Park Shin Hye explained that before she could not watch a scary movie. But Yoo Bin's character made him quite interested because of his personality. In addition, Park Shin Hye also explained Yoo Bin's specialties when faced with an emergency situation.
"I usually can't watch scary things, but I really liked 'The Walking Dead' for a while. When I received the script afterwards, I watched it again and I paid close attention to how the characters survive by using what they find when moving, "said Park Shin Hye.
"I think because Yoo Bin is a character who likes hiking, he can certainly use objects like that naturally. The characters I play are usually cheerful and energetic, and I think Yoo Bin is different when he realistically accepts the situation," added Choi Tae Joon's lover.
Finally, Park Shin Hye commented on the similarity of the topic of the film "#ALIVE" to the current Corona Pandemic. He hopes that the community will still have hope that this epidemic will end soon. "Our film is a genre work, but it would be nice if there were many people who could feel small hopes together, such as the hopes felt by Joon Woo (Yoo Ah In) and Yoo Bin," he concluded.
Meanwhile, "#ALIVE" is a survival thriller that tells about a mysterious plague. Those who are infected will attack others, aka turn into zombies.
This epidemic spread very quickly throughout Seoul and developed out of control. The survivors were trapped in their apartments without having cellular data access, Wi-Fi, SMS or phone calls. The film itself is planned to be released on 24 June.
