HYBE is filing a countersuit against Min Heejin's lawsuit for false allegations.

Previously, ADOR CEO Min Heejin and others announced that they had filed a defamation lawsuit against several HYBE executives. They claimed that HYBE illegally obtained and maliciously edited personal messages unrelated to work.

In response, HYBE released a statement denying these allegations.

Here is HYBE's full statement:

Hello, this is HYBE.

Today, we would like to address the allegations made by ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and others who have filed a lawsuit against HYBE executives.

Min Hee Jin has never handed over information assets such as the laptop to HYBE, nor has it undergone any audit.

The two Deputy CEOs voluntarily transferred the information assets. We have never forcibly acquired goods.

We previously stated in court during the injunction hearing that HYBE has never forensically examined the laptop previously returned by Min Hee Jin.

Min Heejin sent numerous work-related documents, including conversations with Shaman, to external parties via her work HYBE email account. These emails remained on our servers.

The recipients of these emails were identified as high-ranking officials of partner firm B Company.

Min Heejin consented to the processing of her personal data when she joined HYBE, a fact that came to light during the injunction hearing.

Despite our repeated explanations regarding the collection of information, Min Heejin and others filed suit based on false allegations. Respond with a counterclaim for false accusation.
