ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin filed a complaint against several HYBE executives.

Earlier, Dispatch reported allegations based on KakaoTalk messages between Min Hee Jin and the shaman, who allegedly stole the NewJeans members from Source Music. Dispatch revealed that Min Hee Jin was originally involved in the production of Music Source's first teacher project "N team" but allegedly delayed the N team's debut in order to release NewJeans. Min Hee Jin denied the claims and announced her intention to take legal action, saying that the allegations were based on KakaoTalk's private messages that she illegally obtained.

On July 24, ADOR released the following official statement:

ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and others filed a complaint today (July 24) at the Yongsan Police Station against HYBE President Park Ji Won, Audit Committee Chairman Lim Soo Hyun, Chief Legal Officer Jung Jin Soo, Chief Financial Officer -Lee Kyung Joon, and Chief Communications Officer Park Tae Hee for defamation. Charges include obstruction of business, unauthorized access to electronic records, and violation of the Information and Communication Technology Promotion and Information Protection Act.

The suspects have repeatedly engaged in unauthorized sharing of private messenger communications and illegally obtained personal information, maliciously editing it to fit their information. In April, the defendant forcibly seized ADOR's work laptops under the pretext of a 'subsidiary investigation of the parent company' to remove Min Hee Jin from her position as CEO following two internal dismissal reports. With this, they receive personalized KakaoTalk messages. In addition, they intelligently checked the laptop that Min Hee Jin had reset and returned in 2022 when she joined ADOR, illegally collecting personal communications unrelated to work. In addition, the defendant edited and distorted the personal interviews he took to create and distribute publications with false information about Min Hee Jin's management and performance, thus creating a negative public opinion against him.

The plaintiffs have repeatedly demanded, both formally and informally, that the defendants stop these actions, which have a negative impact on the artists and staff of ADOR while causing public unrest. Despite these demands, the suspects continued their illegal activities until recently. As a result, we cannot stand by and allow continued harm to our players and staff, which is why we have taken legal action.
