Two members of the boy group SF9, Hwiyoung and Chani were recently reported to have violated the COVID-19 health protocol.
It is known that Hwiyoung and Chani of SF9 on January 18, 2022, were at the lounge bar located in Nonhyeon, Seoul at around 1 am.
The two idols then underwent an investigation at the police because they had violated the COVID-19 quarantine protocol which is currently increasingly being carried out in South Korea.
Regarding this, FNC Entertainment as the agency of Hwiyoung and Chani of SF9 released a statement containing an apology from both of them for the violations they had committed.

At 1 am on January 18, we learned today that SF9 members Hwiyoung and Chani had violated the Corona 19 quarantine rules in Seoul during a meeting with acquaintances.
Hwiyoung and Chani visited the lounge bar in Nonhyeon after receiving a call from an acquaintance to celebrate Chani's birthday the night after all schedules were over. In the process, they were investigated for violating quarantine rules.
It is clear that Hwiyoung and Chani were careless and deserve condemnation, and they blamed themselves for causing concern to fans as well as the public, and deeply reflect and regret it.
We would also like to express our deepest apologies for no reason to neglect our artist management, and we will thoroughly manage and prepare precautionary measures so that such a situation does not happen again.
