"Internal Medicine Director Park" is a comedy drama about the funny but sad life of a doctor. The story focuses on Director Park Won Jang (Lee Seo Jin), a true doctor who has almost no patients.
More specifically, Director Park is portrayed as an internal medicine doctor who wants to become a rich and influential person. He is an ordinary breadwinner who tries to provide the best service but experiences hair loss while trying to do his job well.
During the interview, Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran shared their experiences working together. They also compliment each other's acting skills.
Lee Seo Jin said, "Isn't Ra Mi Ran so unique in comedy? In the movie 'Perfect Stranger', Ra Mi Ran only appeared as a voice actor, so I thought that I wanted to work with her."
He continued, "When we shoot together, we are usually so close that time just passes. While we are chatting, we film one scene.
On the other hand, Ra Mi Ran said, "He is a great actor in comedy. He shows more than expected. He seems to be getting more and more greedy (to show good acting). I can't keep up."
On this occasion, director Seo Joon Beom also shared his thoughts about this drama. He said, "I wanted to show reality well. I chose 'comedy' as a means for that."
"When I decided to make this webtoon into a drama, I thought I should keep the comedic side alive. I think 'surprising' is the most important thing to make it happen," concluded the director.
