Although new to Instagram, V has filled his feed page with aesthetic portraits. He also several times left comments on other BTS members' posts. V has even gone a bit of a pro on Instagram Stories.
An ARMY recently posted on Weverse, asking if V would consider doing an Instagram Live. "Taehyung Taehyung (real name V). Don't you want to do Instagram Live?" asked the fan.
V answered immediately, and his answer was simple and straight to the point. He didn't want to try doing Instagram Live. "No. I'm not going to talk and it won't be fun," he replied.
Things took an interesting turn when V seemed to change his mind just a day later. A few lucky ARMYs were told that V would be live, surprising everyone.
It was probably unintentional as it seemed that the live broadcast continued buffering for only a few seconds before ending. V must have been trying to explore the various features of the app when he realized that he had started a live broadcast.
Meanwhile, Guinness World Records confirmed that V has broken the world records for the fastest time to reach 1 million and 10 million followers on Instagram. V amassed 1 million followers on his Instagram account in just 43 minutes, and amassed 10 million in just 4 hours and 52 minutes.
V and the other BTS members are currently on sabbatical after working hard for approximately two years non-stop. They are given time to vacation instead of attending year-end festivals and awards.
In other news, BTS swept all 4 Daesangs at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards without even attending in person. They won a total of 9 awards at the 2021 MAMA and are the artists to win the most awards at the event. (wk/chus)
