Not long ago YG Entertainment released a number of BLACKPINK's 5th anniversary projects. Released next August, 'BLACKPINK The Movie' teased fans with an official poster.
In the framework of the fifth anniversary, BLACKPINK (Black Pink) will launch its newest documentary. After being rumored to be released next August, "BLACKPINK The Movie" has just released an official poster.
Through official social media accounts, YG Entertainment uploaded the poster "BLACKPINK The Movie" on Monday (21/6). The poster is designed in the majestic BLCKPINK style. Against the dark background, the stage lights shone over the angel-like statue and the dark pink rolling clouds.
"BLACKPINK The Movie" will be divided into segments. The sections include "The Room of Memories", "Beauty", "Unreleased Special Interviews". There's also footage of the globally successful 2018 tour "In Your Area" and "The Show" starting in 2021. The film will be released in various resolutions, including 4DX in some theaters.
Meanwhile, the film is scheduled to hit theaters in around 100 countries around the world on August 8, 2021. This project marks one of a series of large-scale events celebrating the fifth anniversary, "4+1 PROJECT" that YG Entertainment had previously leaked.
This project has been eagerly awaited by fans. The reason is, BLACKPINK fans are spread all over the world and not only limited to South Korea. This makes it one of the biggest girl groups ever.
As is known, BLACKPINK has started its career since debuting with "BOOMBAYAH" and "Whistle" in 2016. Carrying a strong and charismatic concept, this four-member group managed to steal the hearts of many fans in a relatively short time.
