Recently, BLACKPINK (Black Pink) announced that they will hold a concert titled "The Show" online. In an interview with Hugh McIntyre of Forbes, BLACKPINK gave a little insight into their first online concert.
"Let me congratulate you on the great year you guys have. Why don't you tell me a little about 'The Show'?" asked Hugh McIntyre.
"'The Show' is our first online concert that we have been waiting to present to our fans. We like to prepare a Christmas present for everyone who has been through a lot, who worked hard this year," said Jennie.
He continued, "Even though this is an online concert, we are trying our best to fully express the show. So, trying various things, whatever we can use online. We really hope our fans enjoy it. Yes, we are very happy."
BLACKPINK was then asked how long they had been preparing for their "The Show" concert. Jisoo shared that the concert turned out to be a girl group of 4 people who had prepared for a long time.
"So we originally prepared a world tour around the beginning of this year, which we thought would be possible this summer. But unfortunately, due to circumstances, we couldn't hold offline concerts. So that's when we started to think deeply about online concerts," he said. .
"This concert gives you the opportunity to perform songs that you have never played live before. You will introduce it to many people. Is there one song that makes you really excited to perform for the first time?" asked Hugh McIntyre.
"There will be a show that we will show the audience for the first time. So the songs from our album, we haven't really had the chance to show all the songs. So I hope you pay attention to that stage," said Lisa.
