Bangtan Boys (BTS) has never stopped making new achievements and history. This time the boy group made by Big Hit Entertainment has returned to bring good news to fans. BTS was successfully selected as TIME's "Entertainer of the Year 2020".

On yesterday, Thursday (10/12) local time, TIME announced that BTS had taken over the title this year. In a video, RM (Rap Monster) talks about how their 2020 includes the pandemic and their tour cancellations, but it also features them reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"What gives us hope and joy this year are our fans and members," said BTS's Jimin. "Our daily life such as doing music, dancing and practicing together, is a source of hope and happiness for us."

"We exist because many people listen to our music," said Jin, "We climb slowly, so it feels like we grew up together," Jungkook added and the others agreed. He continued, "We know each other on a deeper level."

RM commented, "We've come this far in the US thanks to ARMY (our fans)." BTS also talked about singing "Dynamite" in English and discussed the definition of "K-pop", compared to The Beatles, and more.

In addition to this proud achievement, BTS has also previously succeeded in being the only Korean artist to enter Rolling Stone's "50 Best Albums of 2020" list. Surprisingly one of BTS's popular albums "Map of the Soul: 7" made the list. This group's album is quite high ranking, namely at position 16.

Not only that Rob Sheffield also described "Map of the Soul: 7" as the most complex and personal album from BTS. He praised the group for continuing to pursue "their most beautiful creative ambition."

“'Map of the Soul: 7' lives up to its title with sincere individual recognition like rap star Suga's extraterrestrial fantasy 'Interlude: Shadow'. But the highest point is Jin's 'Moon' which is the song of love and fascination for fans, in which he pledged allegiance to the chiming guitar, "continued Rob Sheffield.
