Kai finally returned to give spoilers for his debut song, Mmmh. He released the MV teaser through the YouTube and NaverTV SMTOWN accounts.
In the MV, Kai appears to show his sexy choreography combined with the song Mmmh which is thick with R&B nuances. In the 19-second video, Kai looks like he is in a world of the future.
Mmmh is described as a minimal song with the R&B pop genre track that combines simple and addictive melodies. The lyrics express a person's attraction to the opposite sex at the first meeting.
Along with the Mmmh MV, Kai will also release his first solo album titled KAI. There are a total of 6 songs in the album, each of which shows Kai's different color.
Apart from the song Mmmh, there are songs Nothing On Me, Amnesia, Reason, Ride or Die, and Hello Stranger. This album will be released on November 30, 2020 at 16.00 WIB through various music sites.
For his solo debut, Kai worked with some of the best music producers. This album was produced by producer from the United States, Mike Daley and also collaborated with producer ChaCha Malone who was under the auspices of AOMG, the management formed by Jay Park.
Kai also collaborated with choreographer Baek Gu Yong to maximize Kai's appearance on his debut. Previously Baek Gu Yong had collaborated with EXO for songs Tempo to Love Shot.
For his debut, Kai is also directly involved in making the concept and styling of the clothes he wears. Kai shows the color he wants to show through the clothes he's wearing.
Ahead of his debut, Kai has released a number of teasers and mood samplers. For his solo debut, Kai brings a unique charm that matches Kai's superpower.
