Kim Jong Kook appeared on the latest episode of "Radio Star" on Tuesday (12/3). The singer and star "Running Man" clarified rumors that he had a wife and child in Los Angeles, United States.
In the episode, Kim Jong Kook talked about the ridiculous rumors spread by his own close friend, Cha Tae Hyun 10 years ago. "Tae Hyun blatantly mentioned that I had a wife and child in LA about 10 years ago, and still going around telling people the same thing! There are some people who really believe that the words are true," he said.
"I often travel to LA with my mother. I enjoy traveling with my mother, and she really likes LA. She goes to bed early and I usually go and exercise in the gym with some of the men I know in LA. There are lots of good gyms there, "explained Kim Jong Kook.
"What Tae Hyun always told me was, 'You always go to LA with your mother, because she wants to see her daughter-in-law and grandson.' That doesn't make any sense at all! " he continued.
Shorry who was close friends with Kim Jong Kook then commented. "But you always wear a gold necklace every time you go to LA. You don't wear it while in Korea," he said.
Although it has been denied and explained by Kim Jong Kook, Cha Tae Hyun continues to tease him. "No no, he went to LA to meet his wife and child," said the drama star "Producer".
