Ch1tkey did a challenge by pretending to jump off a roof. However, the rapper slipped and fell from a 5-story building. Ch1tkey was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.
Sad news came from rapper Ch1tkey who was reported to have died tragically. A close acquaintance on July 29 shared details of the unfortunate event that befell the underground rapper that led to his death.
The close acquaintance revealed, "One of his friends promised their viewers that if a certain number of Instagram followers was reached, Ch1tkey would jump off the roof. When the target was reached, Ch1tkey and his friend went to the roof."
Ch1tkey actually planned to pretend to do the challenge. However, the rapper slipped and actually fell from a 5-story building. "The plan was to pretend to fall and then give gifts to viewers randomly," said the close acquaintance.
"However, Ch1tkey slipped and fell. It was a five-story building with a ledge in the middle. His friend initially thought it was a prank and went to check on him, but Ch1tkey was unresponsive," the close acquaintance continued.
Ch1tkey was immediately rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. "They called an ambulance and took him to the emergency room, but he was declared dead due to a heart attack," the close acquaintance concluded.
The story shared by Ch1tkey's close acquaintance immediately went viral on social media. Ch1tkey's Instagram account has since been flooded with comments lamenting his untimely death because the rapper was only 21 years old.
A girl who is suspected of being Ch1tkey's girlfriend uploaded on her Instagram story, writing, "I believe you live freely in the world you have always dreamed of. You have worked hard. Let's meet every day in our dreams. I am so grateful to have been your first love."
Meanwhile, Ch1tkey is an active underground rapper and shares many of his songs on SoundCloud. The man born in 2003 was once involved in controversy for releasing a song that denigrated former President Roh Moo Hyun. (wk/amal)
