KARA's Park Gyuri was recently reported to have suffered several serious injuries to her face. This news sparked several bad rumors including accusations claiming that the idol suffered injuries as a result of being beaten by his ex-girlfriend.
Not wanting the rumors to spread further, Gyuri finally opened her voice. The woman born in 1988 revealed, "Do you want to do that to someone who is hurt? Aren't you afraid of karma?"
Not only Gyuri, Big Boss Entertainment's agency also responded on July 19. "We would like to inform you about actress Park Gyuri. We previously revealed that the actress suffered facial injuries," said the agency.
The agency confirmed that Gyuri was injured due to a fall. "The actress suffered an injury due to a fall during her personal time. We didn't reveal too much about her injury because we didn't want to worry fans," added the agency.
The agency then denied rumors of violence against Gyuri by her ex-boyfriend which had been growing for some time. "However, we found wrong information and speculation regarding Park Gyuri's injury," continued Big Boss Entertainment.
Big Boss Entertainment confirmed that it would take legal action against the spread of this rumor. "We want to say that we will take firm legal action against those who defame Park Gyuri," the agency continued.
The agency also asked for the public's help in finding the spreader of the negative rumors. "We ask you to send reports and evidence of malicious rumors or unfounded speculation regarding the cause of the accident to the agency's official email address," they added.
Finally, the agency revealed Gyuri's current condition. "After undergoing surgery, actress Park Gyuri is currently fully focused on her recovery with a strong determination to (resume) her activities," concluded Big Boss Entertainment. (wk/charity)
