Winter also asked the sasaengs to stop contacting her. The idol then revealed that she had changed her phone number many times, but it kept leaking.

aespa's Winter recently did a live broadcast on Weverse. However, the idol born in 2001 experienced an unpleasant incident when she was continuously disturbed by phone calls from a sasaeng.

Unable to stand the sasaeng's behavior, Winter immediately expressed her annoyance. The idol admitted that her number had indeed been spread among sasaengs. Winter also asked the sasaengs to stop contacting her.

"Don't contact me. Why do you keep calling me? Do you want to know if this is my real phone number? Yes, you are right (it is my phone number). So please don't call me again. I want to spend time with MYs," said Winter.

Winter asked the sasaeng to understand her words. "I hope you understand what I'm saying," said Winter firmly. The singer of "Supernova" revealed that she had changed her phone number many times, but it continued to leak.

The sasaeng's actions drew criticism from South Korean netizens. "It seems like someone keeps calling during every live stream today. It seems like sasaengs are harassing Winter badly right now [sic!]," wrote one netizen.

"It's really concerning how bad the sasaeng problem is, but Winter still tries to communicate with her fans without showing any disgust or hatred. It's impressive and also a little sad that she keeps trying despite the harassment [sic!]," added another.

On the other hand, aespa fans have urged SM Entertainment to protect her personal information from being leaked to sasaeng fans. "It's SM's responsibility to protect her privacy by taking action against those who leak her information," protested one international aespa fan.

These incidents provide insight into the challenges K-pop idols face in maintaining their privacy in the digital age, and how important it is for entertainment agencies to take strong action against privacy violations to protect their artists. (wk/amal)
