"The Good Bad Mother" ended its broadcast on Thursday (9/6). As soon as it was over, Ahn Eun Jin, who played the character Lee Mi Joo, underwent an interview with local media discussing her experience starring in the drama.
One of the things that Eun Jin discussed was her intimate scene with Lee Do Hyun. In "The Good Bad Mother", the two are told as lovers who separated when Eun Jin was pregnant.
Choi Kang Ho (Do Hyun) had lost his memory, but when he recovered, they made love again. Even in the 13th episode, Kang Ho and Mi Joo were seen kissing very passionately on the steps of the hotel where they were hiding.
Because their character's kiss was so intimate, Eun Jin reaped warnings from the audience of "The Good Bad Mother". Many say that Lim Ji Yeon, Do Hyun's girlfriend in the real world, might slap Eun Jin because of the kiss scene.
In the interview, Eun Jin was asked if Ji Yeon contacted her after the kiss scene with Do Hyun was aired. The actress casually said no and revealed the possible reasons for not contacting Do Hyun's lover.
"No, I didn't get a call. Maybe he thought I did it (kissing scene) really well, didn't he?" Eun Jin answered jokingly. Eun Jin also revealed that she received a lot of help from Do Hyun on set.
"When I said (to her), 'Ah this scene is difficult' and she would say, 'Noona how about like this?' So we will shoot comfortably. He shares a lot of ideas, for example pair pajamas," said Eun Jin.
"The Good Bad Mother" closes with a happy ending because Kang Ho managed to put bad people in jail. Kang Ho also finally proposes to Mi Joo even though his mother, Jin Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran) has died.
Meanwhile, "The Good Bad Mother" ended the broadcast with the highest rating throughout the broadcast, which was 12 percent. The slot for this drama will be replaced by "Miracle Brothers" starting June 28. (wk/charity)
