Back under a label co-managed and led by leader Sunggyu, INFINITE is about to make waves. L expressed his feelings when many thought the group had disbanded.
INFINITE recently celebrated their 13th debut anniversary through a special live on YouTube. After having rarely gathered together in front of the camera in such a way, L expressed his frustration that many thought they had disbanded.
On Friday (9/6) at midnight, the six INFINITE members performed live to greet fans. By entering a new age and having a new label, Infinite Company led by Sunggyu, they will make a new start.
During the live, L expressed his feelings so far that he often heard many people say that INFINITE was disbanding. Even though so far the owner of the real name Kim Myungsoo has always been with INFINITE. Even though it is true that he has long since parted ways with Woollim Entertainment and has focused on acting activities until his military service.
"I'm sick and angry. I want to deny the rumors but feel it's inappropriate to say it," said L.
In order to overcome the rumors, L felt that INFINITE had to do something. "I think something needs to be done," he said.
Now, INFINITE announced their new breakthrough by holding a concert next summer. After five years of not performing, they will repay the longing of everyone who has been waiting for them.
"We will repay everyone who has been waiting for us with great activities. Summer vacation is coming soon, so please leave August 19-20 free," said INFINITE.
Meanwhile, L and INFINITE made their debut with "Comeback Again" in 2010. They began to be widely recognized even by international fans since the comeback "Over The Top" with the title track "Be Mine" went viral everywhere, especially at that time social media was not as massive as it is now.
Fellow INFINITE members L and Sungyeol will both be starring in the MBC drama "Numbers" which will start airing on June 23. In this drama, Myungsoo will compete acting with Choi Jin Hyuk and Yeonwoo. (wk/inta)
