IU recently became the talk of the town after reuniting with her fans after 10 years. A video showing the singer-actress reuniting with her fan has become a hot topic on Twitter.
On May 6, a fan from Japan posted on his Twitter account a video of IU during a stage greeting for his new movie, "Dream" with the caption, "It's been almost 10 years since I last met IU and she called my name right away."
In the video, IU sees fans coming to see her again for the first time in 10 years. The owner of the real name Lee Jieun greeted, "How are you? You look the same. Very beautiful."
When the Japanese fans asked, "Do you recognize me?", IU even immediately called his name and replied, "I miss you so much." This moment became a topic of conversation because it shows how real IU's love for her fans is and how she appreciates every fan.
Meanwhile, in the movie "Dream" which premiered on April 26, IU played Lee So Min, a broadcasting PD who produced a documentary about the homeless national soccer team. As of May 6, "Dream" had surpassed 900,000 cumulative admissions.
IU is currently filming her next work, "You Have Done Well" with actor Park Bo Gum. This is a drama about adventures through four seasons of rebellious girl Ae Soon and tough boy Gwan Sik on Jeju Island in the 1950's.
In "You Have Done Well", IU plays Ae Soon, a young girl who dreams of becoming a poet even though she can't go to school. The adult version of Ae Soon is played by actress Moon So Ri. Park Bo Gum appeared in the drama as the young Gwan Sik, who only loves and respects Ae Soon. Actor Park Hae Joon plays the adult version of Gwan Sik. (wk/goddess)
