A funny article appeared about V BTS having cooked ramen in 2021. International fans forbade V from cooking expired kimchi while Korean fans actually supported him.

V is currently gaining attention for being part of the "Jinny's Kitchen" program. The BTS member has been known to be unable to cook, but he took cooking courses so he could contribute more to the restaurant headed by Lee Seo Jin.

But recently, netizens again highlighted how V once cooked expired kimchi. An article on an online forum went viral as it contained the title, "International fans say no, while Korean fans say it's okay to ask BTS V questions".

The creator of the article shared a funny anecdote about V having cooked ramen in 2021. V wrote on Weverse, "Question. This is Bibigo Kimchi, but since it becomes 'aged Kimchi' if it is past its expiration date, it should be fine to eat right?"

V uploads a canned kimchi label that shows past its expiration date. International fans immediately asked the boy born in 1995 not to eat it. They are worried that V will get sick after eating food that has passed its expiration date.

However, Korean fans showed very different reactions from international fans. They said V was fine because kimchi is a fermented dish that as long as it's stored properly, it can last for years.

Netizens agree with Korean fans' comments because they also prefer to eat aged kimchi. They even stated it would be better for V to eat kimchi that was a month past its expiration date.

"If it's a month (past the expiration date), then it's perfect to put in the broth," wrote one netizen. "I prefer this (aged kimchi). If you make fried rice with it, it tastes really good, lol," added another.

"If you don't open the can, then it won't even ripen that fast, so the expiration date really doesn't matter," added another. "If he doesn't open the can, then it might not be ripe, lol. This is actually better (when the kimchi is old)," concluded another. What do you think? (wk/charity)
