On February 27, almost a month before his wedding to actress Lee Da In, Lee Seung Gi conducted an interview and photoshoot with GQ Korea. The actor shared his thoughts on people seeing him on economy class flights.

In his interview with the fashion magazine, Lee Seung Gi mentioned the ups and downs of his career and personal life. The singer-actor shared how happy he is to receive the endless support from his fans and others.

First of all, after he received money from his former agency, Hook Entertainment, he generously donated 5 billion KRW (approximately Rp. 58.9 billion) to various organizations namely, Seoul National University Children's Hospital, Korean Red Cross, Institute of Science & Korea Advanced Technology (KAIST) and others.

After his good deed went viral, Lee Seung Gi went overseas for his personal schedule. However, people noticed that instead of being in business class, he was on an economy class flight, much to the surprise of many.

Lee Seung Gi mentioned that previously when there were no seats available in business class, he would usually take economy class. But this time, because he was in the public eye, the actor received reactions from the audience who saw him fly in economy class.

Instead of hate comments, Lee Seung Gi was enthusiastic about how people showed their support when he saw him in economy class. "I received a lot of comfort after seeing the support from people who were not interested in me, and even people who didn't like me. It gave me a strength that almost made me cry. Because I felt I wasn't fighting alone, that there were other people fighting with me too. "

Regarding the large donation, Lee Seung Gi said that all of his donations were good. The money was very precious to him because it came from his blood, sweat and tears. It was the fruit of nearly a decade of hard work as a singer and actor, and knowing that it would help many people, the "Vagabond" star was satisfied.

"The sense of satisfaction that I feel after donating is so great. To the point that I even surprised myself," he said. (wk/goddess)
