Kdrama Crash Course in Romance has released a video showing the teamwork of Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho on the set.
Just so you know, “Crash Course in Romance” is a romantic drama that tells the warm and thrilling stories of people who have to deal with the intense world of education in South Korea.
The story is about the bitter scandal between a side dish shop owner who entered the world of entrance exams late and a renowned instructor in Korea's private education world. Jeon Do Yeon will play Nam Haeng Sun, a former national athlete from the National Representative Side Dish Shop, and Jung Kyung Ho will play Korea's number 1 math instructor Choi Chi Yeol.
Launching Soompi, Tuesday (7/2/2023), the behind-the-scenes video begins with the players' handball and foot volleyball matches. After impressing each other with quick practice, they start rehearsing their game scene where Jeon Do Yeon cutely struggles to steal the ball from Jung Kyung Ho.
Once he managed to steal the ball properly, he impressively scored and slightly threatened the goalkeeper which made the whole crew laugh. After the shooting was carried out well, the actors were excited and expressed satisfaction with the scene. Unfortunately, the shot was canceled due to the sound of a nearby helicopter.
Another interesting fact from that scene, in order to perfect his throwing moves, Jeon Do Yeon even got a tip from a real handball player. After watching their demonstration, Jeon Do Yeon joked, “Is it really that different from what I do?”
The intense game of football ends with Choi Chi Yeol suffering a wrist injury that Nam Haeng Sun has to assess. Though their characters should both be deeply concerned, the two actors struggle to maintain eye contact, involuntarily bursting out into laughter as soon as their eyes meet. In between takes Jeon Do Yeon rubbed Jung Kyung Ho's wrist, he kindly helped warm it with a warm compress.
The next scene focuses on Bae Yoon Kyung's special appearance as Hye Yeon, who goes on a blind date with Choi Chi Yeol. For his unexpected arrival to Choi Chi Yeol's lab, Jeon Do Yeon proposed an idea that would better portray his character's discomfort and jealousy.
While going over their lines, Bae Yoon Kyung flirtatiously tells Choi Chi Yeol that he will cry if he doesn't come to his recital and Jeon Do Yeon cutely shouts from the side, “Cry!”
At the end of the video, viewers are taken to the shooting location of Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho's special poster where they sit down by a large table filled with food.
