BamBam greeted fans by appearing in a pictorial and interview for the upcoming March issue of Cosmopolitan Korea magazine. During a magazine interview, BamBam talked about the biggest crisis facing Korea and his greatest happiness.
"There was indeed a moment of crisis at one point. (laughs) It was more than five years ago, but somehow I got involved in a dating scandal. It's unfounded, but I'm only three years from debut. I got so many reactions that I even considered to retire," said BamBam.
According to BamBam, the rumors caught him and the company off guard, and the Thai idol even cried on the set of the photo shoot that followed. "When the article first started circulating, the agency and I let our guard down. It felt so unfair that I even started crying in the middle of the shoot. I still remember that day very clearly. I was ready for the NYLON shoot. That's when I started to really invest in my savings account," he exclaimed.
BamBam later said that he knew that dating rumors could be really hard on idols, and it made him realize that he should probably "really quit this job". "I thought, 'This time, I don't have to retire because the rumors aren't true but one day when I start dating someone, I might really have to quit this job," she added.
However, BamBam has a positive mindset so his greatest happiness still comes from his work. "My greatest happiness comes from the recent times when I started getting more love and attention from the Korean public," he concluded. (wk/aiss)
