TXT fans should be proud. Because the album Tomorrow X Together entered the Billboard No. 1 list for the first time on the Billboard 200 album chart in the album titled
The Name Chapter : Temptation.
Reporting from various sources, Monday (6/2/2023), the album which was just released on Friday (27/1/2023) contains a total of 5 songs namely the main song Sugar Rush, Devil by the Window, Happy Fools, Tinnitus and the song Leaving Neverland. 1. Obtain sales of 161,500 units
The five-track set earned 161,500 album units in the final week of February 2, 2023. Album sales comprised 152,000, Streaming Equivalent Albums (SEA) units comprised 9,000, and Track Equivalent Albums (TEA) units comprised 500.
2. Obtained sales of 152,000 album copies
The Name Chapter : Template has the biggest sales with 152,000 album copies, 98% CD sales (148,500), and 2% digital album sales (3,500).
3. Third time in the top 10 of Billboard
TXT's album The Name Chapter : Temptation is the third top 10 attempt for the South Korean group who previously reached the top 10 in 2022 with Minisode 2 : Thursday's Child (No.4) and in 2021 with The Chaos Chapter : Freeze ( No. 5).
4. Beating Taylor Shift's album and peaking at number five on the Billboard 200
The album also beat the biggest US seller of any album as it beat Taylor Swift's "Midnight" which made its No.1 debut last November. Additionally, TXT became the fifth South Korean artist in history to top the Billboard 200 which has been occupied by BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, and Blackpink.
5. Topped the Japanese Oricon
TXT accomplished this feat less than four years into their career since their debut in March 2019. In the history of Japan's Oricon, TXT became the first foreign artist to top the weekly album chart, where the album The Name Chapter : Temptation took first place after three days of the album's release.
