Jang Won Young IVE's position was replaced by Minji NewJeans temporarily as MC 'Music Bank'

Jang Won Young IVE's position was temporarily replaced by Minji NewJeans who was confirmed to be a special MC for the music program 'Music Bank' this week. The news suddenly greeted enthusiastically.

Last week, it was announced that Jang Won Young IVE had decided to leave his status as the host or MC of "Music Bank". Jang Won Young has been the MC of "Music Bank" for 1 year and 3 months.

Jang Won Young is known to be the MC of "Music Bank" together with ENHYPEN's Sunghoon who released his previous status in November last year. Later, Jang Won Young hosted the music show with actor Lee Chae Min.

Jang Won Young's replacement previously made fans wonder. KBS itself has not given any further statement regarding the figure that will accompany Lee Chae Min next.

Today, Wednesday (18/1) Minji NewJeans was announced to replace Jang Won Young temporarily. Minji will be a special MC for "Music Bank" for this week's broadcast, Friday (20/1).

This news was announced directly through the official NewJeans Twitter and Weverse accounts. ADOR also explained the procedures for fans who want to see Minji become the MC on "Music Bank".

The fans were also excited because Minji would become the MC of "Music Bank". Not a few even hope that the beautiful idol born in 2004 will be lined up as a permanent MC later.

"MINJI IS SOOOOO TALENT. I'M VERY PROUD OF YOU," one fan exclaimed. "MC MINJI SPIRIT UP," said another. "MC Kim Minji... I always hope that today will be real," I said. "Gosh MC Minji yashhh come on," said another. "What can't he do?" said another. "MC MINJI I'M READY WOHOOOOO," said another.

Meanwhile, Minji is known to have attracted attention since he was a trainee. This is because he appeared in the BTS music video "Permission to Dance", which was released in 2021. Minji's name is increasingly rising along with the popularity of NewJeans, which officially debuted on August 1 last year. (wk/alpha)
