The 2022 Seoul International Drama Awards will be held offline for the first time in three years at KBS Hall on September 22, 2022. Apink's Eunji and Joo Sang Wook hosted the show and performed by THE BOYZ, STAYC, LA POEM and Maytree.
The Seoul Drama Awards (SDA) began in 2006 to celebrate dramas and talents that have received much love internationally. Supporters of this 17th annual event include the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Seoul Metropolitan Government; SBA; Idol Champion; KBS; MBK; SBS; EBS; and CBS. This year there were 225 drama entries from 39 countries.

A number of works and famous Korean stars were seen at the award ceremony.
'Outstanding Korean Actor' award recipient Kim Seon Ho (tvN 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha') also thanked fans for liking the drama. That message was conveyed in his VCR video.
“This award is given not only to me but also to all the staff, actors, and directors who worked so hard for this drama. Thank you to everyone who supported us, I am here as an actor and I am so happy that our drama shines brightly. I will work harder to become a better actor. Thank you so much and I love you," he said.
Actress Jisoo (JTBC 'Snowdrop') considers the 'Outstanding Korean Actress' award a great honor. He also gave his victory speech in a video because he still has activities in the US with BLACKPINK.
