The collaborative single from BTS and Coldplay entitled My Universe achieved a new record, namely a prestigious achievement in the form of a platinum certificate in the United States.
The news was announced by Atlantic Records through its official Twitter account @AtlanticRecords on Monday (26/9/2022), Atlantic officially announced that the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) had given the song My Universe a platinum certification because it had sold more than 1 million coffee.
For information, My Universe is now the sixth song from the famous Korean boy band to be certified platinum in the United States after MIC Drop, Boy With Luv feat Halsey, IDOL, Dynamite, and Butter.
In addition, BTS is the first K-Pop group to receive the award. Even BTS has also succeeded in achieving various other prestigious achievements such as having 100 songs with 100 million streams on the Spotify digital platform.
