Not just a comeback, BLACKPINK is also reportedly preparing a world tour this year

Many Experts And Industry Analysts Expressed Their Interest In This Issue And Mentioned The Great Wealth That YG Entertainment Will Receive After Their Comeback.

BLACKPINK (Black Pink) is reportedly preparing for the most anticipated K-pop girl group comeback this year. A few weeks after Korean media reported on BLACKPINK's possible comeback this year, the 4 members have all confirmed their new music release and upcoming world tour through an interview with Rolling Stone.

Sharing about her health situation after the 2020 world tour, Jennie said, "Lately, as we are preparing for our comeback and planning our tour, I think every day, 'Okay, how do I prepare myself for the next two busy years?'"

If BLACKPINK makes a comeback as predicted this year, it will mark their comeback with a full lineup after 2 years since "The Album" which was released in October 2020. The information that the 4 BLACKPINK members will get back with a new song has been spreading since the beginning of 2022. Many industry experts and analysts expressed their interest in this matter and mentioned the huge fortune that BLACKPINK's management company, YG Entertainment, will receive after their comeback.

An analyst from NH Investment & Securities said, "YG's performance is expected to improve sharply between late June and early July when BLACKPINK returns." An analyst at Yuanta Securities predicts that the group will return with new music in the third quarter and begin touring in the fourth quarter.

Although YG Entertainment refuses to confirm or comment on this information, BLACKPINK's comeback is getting closer as the 4 members are participating in many activities together instead of promoting solo as before.

Recently, BLACKPINK appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone. They are the first girl group after American group Destiny's Child to appear on the cover of this magazine. BLACKPINK is also the second Asian artist to cover Rolling Stone, after the boy group BTS (Bangtan Boys) last year.

"BLACKPINK is one of the most popular artists from South Korea. The huge success of BLACKPINK is also part of Hallyu, showing the global popularity of the Korean cultural industry," Rolling Stone described the group in its article. According to Rolling Stone, BLACKPINK's music projects are always "explosive, a force greater than life that is refreshing and addictive", blending strong hip-hop beats with house, EDM, and more.

The four BLACKPINK members also shared never-before-seen personal stories on topics about their childhood, trainee period, health issues, family, and future plans.

The BLACKPINK members recently attended the Queen's Birthday Party celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 96th birthday and the Platinum Jubilee at the residence of the British Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. They are present as ambassadors for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, to be held in November 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland.

BLACKPINK had a successful debut in 2016 under YG Entertainment with the first single "Square One". They immediately shot up to become global stars, dominating domestic and international charts. The group is currently the most followed artist on YouTube with more than 74.4 million subscribers, toppling Justin Bieber last September. (wk/goddess)
