When appearing on 'Amazing Saturday', Bona was asked about the rumors that said she wanted to change her name to the name of her character in the drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One'.
Recently Hyorin or who is now better known by the names Hyolyn and Bona made a special appearance as guest stars on the program "Amazing Saturday". In the episode that aired on June 4 yesterday, Bona was introduced as a member of Cosmic Girls aka WJSB who was late joining "Queendom 2" due to filming the drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One".
Bona was then asked about the rumors that said that she had wanted to change her name to the name of her character in the drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One". "People seem to remember Ko Yu Rim more than me because they enjoy this drama. Fans also often call me Ko Yu Rim," said Bona.
Meanwhile, Bona was announced to be a member of WJSN and its Wonder Unit on December 15, 2015, and made their debut together on February 25, 2016, with the mini album "Want You Like?" and the single "MoMoMo". In 2017, Bona made her acting debut in the KBS2 drama "Hit the Top" and played the female lead in the teen drama "Girls' Generation 1979".
In 2022, Bona rose to prominence for her roles as world champion and gold-medal fencer alongside Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk in the tvN drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One". This drama is one of the highest-rated Korean dramas in cable television history.
After scheduling conflicts with the filming of "Twenty-Five Twenty-One", Bona joined WJSN in the third round of the Mnet competition "Queendom 2" which the group finally won in June 2022.
