Drama Insider is giving viewers goosebumps with a poster of Kang Ha Neul's character!
Insider is a suspense action drama about Kim Yo Han, a judicial trainee who goes through a crisis while undercover for the investigation of a corrupt prosecutor and ends up struggling to try to get the card that will change his fate.
While imprisoned, he begins plotting revenge for the betrayal he endured. Insider will be produced by director Min Yeon Hong who was behind “Missing: The Other Side” and writer Moon Man Sae from “Priest.” The cast also featured Lee Yoo Young with Heo Sung Tae.
Ahead of its premiere in June 2022, as reported by Soompi, Monday (4/25/2022), the series is slowly revealing plot details starting with Kang Ha Neul's poster depicting the character Kim Yo Han.
The poster neatly embodies the internal clash of Kim Yo Han's two personalities. Divided into two sides with no clear distinction, the prosecutor's side of Kim Yo Han looks upright and firm, while the prisoner's side of Kim Yo Han is wrinkled and full of wounds.
The only thing the two have in common is their unwavering poker face. In the game of life and death, face is a weakness that releases one's will.
With a shrewd mind and cautious nature, Kim Yo Han aptly equipped himself with a poker face that had no chance of faltering even in the most dire of situations. On the poster is the sentence, "Don't read it, don't get caught."
That sentence sparked even more interest in the infiltration of Kim Yo Han, who had put his life on the line.
Kang Ha Neul is known for his ability to make each of his characters memorable, creating a lot of buzz around his next transformation. It also shows versatility in performing well across various genres. His acting skills will bring Kim Yo Han's complex narrative to life with a sprinkling of intense action and brain play.
