Not long ago, the legendary South Korean musician, PSY announced that he would return to the music industry with his ninth album. This time, he took Suga from BTS as the main single producer.
Besides being good at drawing voices and dancing on stage, Suga BTS is well known among fans as a music producer with the moniker Agust D. In fact, as Agust D, Suga has produced many songs for a number of well-known musicians like IU, Epik High, to Coldplay.
In 2022, Suga's career as a producer also brings him face to face with a great South Korean musician, Park Jae-Sang aka PSY. Now, working with the singer of Gangnam Style, Suga admits that he was awkward.
"Because he is my senior and is a respected figure in the K-Pop industry, I was afraid," he said, quoted from Koreaboo, Wednesday (27/4/2022).
However, after the process of working on music, the two musicians were able to establish a relationship like old friends. Not feeling the gap between age, PSY and Suga finally managed to create a song called That That which will be the main single at PSY's comeback event later.
“The process is like table tennis; he threw the instrumental, I threw the lyrics, then he threw the edits. So keep going back and forth," PSY added.
Containing 12 songs, the album titled PSY 9th will also be enlivened by several well-known South Korean musicians such as Heize, Hwasa from MAMAMOO, Jessi, and Tablo from Epik High. Reporting from All K-Pop, this album will be released through various music streaming services on April 29.
