While attending the 'Serve the People' press conference on Thursday (27/1), the director and cast revealed a number of interesting charms from the film about this hot affair.
On Thursday (27/1), the new film team "Serve the People" held a press conference which was attended by director Jang Cheol Soo and the three main actors, namely Yeon Woo Jin, Ji An and Cho Sung Ha. On this occasion, they also revealed a number of interesting charms of the film.
"Serve the People" focuses on the story of Mu Gwang, played by Yeon Woo Jin. He is described as a model soldier who dreams of success for his wife and children.
Mu Gwang is then assigned to be the cook at the house of the Division Commander (Cho Seong Ha). There, he meets and falls in love with the commander's young wife, Soo Ryun (Ji An). While her boss is on a business trip, the two have a heated affair.
This film itself is quite interesting because it will present a hot bed scene to show the high-level emotions of the characters. The MC of the press conference Park Kyung Lim even mentioned that the viewership rating for this film is already like 39+.
Regarding this, director Jang Cheol Su said, "This is not just an 'adult' film. It also shows all the emotions between men and women and all kinds of greed that exist in humans."
Yeon Woo Jin added that this film will present many surprises that are worth anticipating. He explained, "I chose this project because of the melo genre. This film will show another side of the melo genre with dangerous situations, full of surprises and death."
"For the sake of this film, I purposely darkened my skin by going to the beach in my hometown. I also lost 5-6 kilograms of weight so that my body looks slim. And while filming, I often don't wear make-up," he added.
On the other hand, Ji An, who plays Soo Ryun, reveals the charms of his character. He explained, "Everything is a ban for Soo Ryun."
"Soo Ryun has a charm like a rose that grows in the desert without a drop of water. He acts cold but turns warm when he is in front of the people he loves," he concluded.
Meanwhile, "Serve the People" is written and directed by Jang Cheol Soo who has won various awards as best new director in 2010. The plan, this film will be released on February 23 next. (wk/eval)
