TREASURE has the funniest behind-the-scenes stories! Despite being a young K-Pop group, they don't mind avoiding certain topics to protect their image, the funniest one being farts.
In fact, they recently revealed on a live broadcast that they even farted while performing on stage. Jihoon expressed the bad experience related to this fart in such a cute style.
"There were times when we farted during music shows. Listen, TREASURE, stop farting when we perform on stage! The smell was so bad, I started sweating and my body started to freeze. I was on stage and I thought, 'What's this smell?' and everyone appeared really loud. Everyone pretended it wasn't them," said Jihoon.
Yoshi laughingly said that the members weren't as cool as they looked when performing the rock version of "MMM" on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" last February 2021. "While we were singing the rock version of 'MMM', when we had to stand... I smelled something. Someone did [fart] right before my part!" he exclaimed.
Yoshi continues until the end of the chorus just before the rap. The members were in a circle, kneeling right next to each other. The culprit was either near Yoshi or emitted a gas strong enough to reach him from wherever he was.
He could do nothing but stay focused because it was his turn to face the camera next. "While we were lying down, I smelled something but I had to rap [so I couldn't react]," said Yoshi.
Until now, the members of TREASURE still don't know who farted while performing. However, one thing they made clear was that it was neither the first nor the last time it happened: "There are many moments like this. Three out of ten [performances]," they said. (wk/goddess)
