SM Entertainment recently formed a super group of seven female idols under the name, Girls on Top: GOT The Beat. Their ranking of the song, "Step Back," successfully stole the attention.
GOT The Beat was formed with a strong lineup including Girls' Generation's BoA, Tae Yeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and Karina and Winter aespa. Fans are calling GOT an "ace girl group" and a "female version of SuperM" for bringing together SM's top female idols.
On January 1, GOT The Beat released a special performance of the song "Step Back" at the online concert "SMTOWN LIVE 2022 SMCU EXPRESS@KWANGYA." This special girl group has also released their first track at 6 p.m. KST on January 3, 2022.
