The webtoon "7Fates: CHAKHO" starring BTS (Bangtan Boys) was finally released on January 15, 2022. The plot of the story immediately became the talk of ARMY, especially involving the character V.
"7Fates: CHAKHO" is an urban fantasy story inspired by a tiger hunter from the Joseon Dynasty. The story follows seven boys whose fates are intertwined. Together, CHAKHO face trials and tribulations while defeating Beom, a tiger incarnate monster.
The webtoon opens with a prologue that introduces CHAKHO, a Beom hunter team consisting of seven young people. They are Do Geon (RM), Hwan (Jin), Cein (Suga), Hosu (J-Hope), Haru (Jimin BTS), Jooan (V) and Zeha (Jungkook).
Previously, the BTS members had explained a bit about their characters in the webtoon. Jooan, the character of V, stole the most attention, because he was told that he fell in love with one of the Beoms.
Jooan sees no flaws in people due to his caring and loving personality. Like other toxic love stories, the story between the hunter and the hunted is never easy. Jooan's character shows the consequences of "forbidden love" and why sometimes sacrifices need to be made.
The figure of Beom who is told as the main enemy of the CHAKHO team has been shown in the first chapter of the webtoon. Beom is described as a monster basically. They are hideous and ugly creatures.
ARMY questioned how Jooan could fall in love with one of them. But some suspect Beom has the power to become a human, like a werewolf.
