Recently, Roh Jeong Eui participated in an interview to discuss the ending of SBS drama "Our Beloved Summer". He talked about many interesting things, including the worries he had when he was first cast.
In this drama, Roh Jeong Eui plays a top idol named NJ. Even though he looks perfect, he feels one-sided love for Choi Ung, played by Choi Woo Shik.
During the interview, Roh Jeong Eui said that he was worried when he first received the casting. This is because his role as an idol is quite prominent when compared to other characters.
Roh Jeong Eui said, "Before receiving the full script, I was worried at first. But once I saw the full picture, I thought it showed how people from seemingly different worlds may look different but still feel the same loneliness, worry and fear. within them."
He continued, "I like it because it shows how people with the same pain meet other people from different fields to comfort each other and grow together. I tried my best to portray those aspects realistically."
Despite having many worries, Roh Jeong Eui was able to film comfortably thanks to the help of the other cast. He said, "I had a lot of worries and went through difficulties, but everyone cheered me on and gave me courage."
After watching the premiere, I was annoyed that there was a part of my acting that disappointed me. Choi Woo Shik told me that, 'You have to accept things like this, and how about you talk to the director about things like this?'. hearing that, I can act with a lighter heart."
Furthermore, he said, "This is a drama where all the actors and staff members put in a lot of effort while filming. And I'm very grateful because it feels like we were rewarded with a lot of love from viewers. I hope this project is remembered as one that will remain in our hearts. you guys for a very long time."
Meanwhile, the slot for "Our Beloved Summer" on SBS Monday - Tuesday night will be replaced with "A Business Proposal". The plan, the drama starring Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyo Seop will start airing in February. (wk/eval)
