Drama actor 'She Would Never Know' Lee Kyu Han has been cleared of accusations that he attacked a taxi driver in 2020 which made him feel tired of dealing with it.
Previously, it was revealed that Lee Kyu Han's setback did not end in starring in two dramas at the same time, raising suspicion. However, this one actor was accused of committing violence against a taxi driver which he quickly denied.
This allegation began on November 8, 2021 when it was reported that the Seoul Gangnam police station forwarded the case regarding Lee Kyu Han to the prosecutor's office. The case ended whether Lee Kyu Han had drunkenly assaulted a driver in the Gangnam area in 2020.
Even because of this, Lee Kyu Han is also suspected by the public of withdrawing from his two dramas because of this assault scandal. However, Lee Kyu Han had vehemently denied it.
According to the driver's statement, Lee Kyu Han and his friend got drunk and rented a car from the chauffeur service and started provoking the driver while he was driving them. The driver claimed that he had been assaulted and made a request for an investigation to the police.
Personally, Lee Kyu Han denied all the accusations during the investigation. According to a legal representative on January 27, the Seoul District Prosecutors' Office rejected the charges against Lee Kyu Han because there was not enough evidence.
With the rejection of the sentence, Lee Kyu Han was automatically found not guilty of the accusation of attacking the taxi driver. Following the news, the actor shared a post showing his struggle for justice for more than a year and a half.
"This is Lee Kyu Han. To get this result I think is the only reasonable option. It took a year and a half. I was overwhelmed with emotions, but I also think it's my fault that I have a job as a celebrity," said Lee Kyu Han. write a long letter to the public.
"I feel very sorry for everyone who participated in the project that caused trouble with this incident. Also, I sincerely thank everyone who trusted me, worried about me, and supported me from beginning to end," he concluded in the open letter. .
