On Monday (3/1), Kep1er attended an online showcase regarding the release of his debut mini album entitled "FIRST IMPACT". On this occasion, Kep1er talked about many interesting things, including revealing his role models in the entertainment industry.
First of all, Kep1er was asked about how to strengthen the bond between each other. In response to this, Kang Ye Seo said, "It seems that we have a lot of conversations because Kep1er have known each other since the program ('Girls Planet 999') and are close to each other."
He continued, "We talk a lot when we're in the dorm or on our way to the dorm. So I think this is the part that we focus on the most."
Song Young Eun then talked about the titles they want to earn as well as their role models in the industry. He explained, "The title we are thinking of is 'Kep1er that can be trusted and witnessed by the audience'."
He added, "I want to be a group that always puts on quality shows that are enough to see and add energy to fans."
"Our role model is SNSD (Girls' Generation). Each member has a different personality and charm, but when they unite as a group and show a perfect appearance, they look very cool and we want to be like them," they concluded.
Meanwhile, the title track on the group's mini album "FIRST IMPACT" is titled "WA DA DA". The song opens with a curious intro followed by an impressive rap. The whole song itself seems energetic with upbeat music.
On the other hand, Kep1er is a girl group born from the Mnet survival program "Girls Planet 999". The number 1 of this group name means 9 girls who will gather together to be the best. (wk/eval)
