Three iKON personnel, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, and Donghyuk have tested positive for COVID-19.
On Sunday (23/01), the YG Entertainment agency conveyed this news to iKON fans through an official announcement.
In the announcement, the agency stated:
"This is YG Entertainment.
iKON members Kim Jinhwan, Song Yunhyeong, and Kim Donghyuk were diagnosed with COVID-19 today (January 23).
On January 22, they developed mild flu symptoms, so they used the COVID-19 self-test kit to test themselves, and the initial results were positive.
After that, all iKON members immediately stopped their scheduled activities and underwent PCR tests, and while conducting individual self-quarantine, Bobby, Koo Junhoe, and Jung Chanwoo got negative results, while the remaining three members were confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19.
We will give our full support not only for Kim Jinhwan, Song Yunhyeong, and Kim Donghyuk's speedy recovery, but also in maintaining the health and safety of all our artists.
In addition, we will cooperate with health authorities while taking all necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
If there is a change in the situation in the future, we will inform you as soon as possible," concluded the agency.
