In the recent 'Ask Us Anything' broadcast, Freezia felt herself to be the 'Campus Goddess,' and received negative responses from Hanyang University students.
Freezia recently appeared on “Ask Us Anything,” and talked about her nickname on campus. The owner of the name Song Ji A feels herself to be the "Campus Goddess," and gets a negative response from Hanyang University students.
Recently on Hanyang University's Everytime, someone shared a scene where Freezia introduces herself as "Goddess of Hanyang University" in the latest broadcast of "Ask Us Anything" on January 22, 2022.
At that time Freezia was asked if she was famous as a visual goddess in her campus. The "Single's Inferno" star said, "They didn't tell me, but I think I might be (the goddess of the university). They ask for my number a lot."
"My parents told me to try to apply for Miss Korea. But I'm not tall enough. My mom said I should wear a crown and wear a pretty dress and eat a lot since I was young, but I don't eat much," he continued.
It was reported that the episode was recorded before Freezia was involved in the KW merchandise controversy. Upon his confession, Hanyang University students showed a negative reaction.
One student claimed, "Even before the luxury goods controversy broke out, he was talking about the university as a marketing tool. Public opinion about him at university was not very good."
The student added, "There are many prettier people at Hanyang University. Why do male students at Hanyang University like Song Ji A? I hope she refrains from mentioning Hanyang University."
Another student said, "I didn't even know our school had a dance department. Song Ji A is not the goddess of our school. There are more beautiful students majoring in liberal arts."
Song Ji A became famous after participating in the Netflix dating show "Single's Inferno." However, she has come under fire because some of the fashion items from designer brands that she wore at the event were confirmed to be fake.
Freezia has already apologized via a handwritten letter posted on Instagram. He also uploaded a video on his official YouTube channel, apologizing and regretting the controversy over KW's goods. (wk/chus)
