Sunoo is one of the members of ENHYPEN who is known to be diligent in taking care of his body. On one occasion, the owner of the name Kim Sun Woo showed his skill and passion for making perfume.
"The weather is great for refreshing. I will make my perfume today, which I often wear," said Sunoo in the video "EN-LoG SUNOO DAY" which was uploaded on the official ENHYPEN YouTube channel some time ago.
In one of the videos from the EN-LoG series, Sunoo had the opportunity to visit a regular perfume boutique to reveal the secret of her fresh scent. As soon as he got there, he received instructions to check the available scents himself.
After trying what the perfumer instructed, Sunoo smelled the sample and thought for a moment. "I like a fresh scent. I think the top notes are fresh and fade quickly," he said.
Next, Sunoo tried to smell the carnation flower and looked for a scent that gave off a dry feel. So he chose the scent of pine which adds freshness to the body. The fragrance of Sunoo's choice of perfume today is suitable for use when the weather is hot.
Next, Sunoo tried to identify the scent of coconut which also made him fall in love because it seemed fresh, sweet and juicy like a rainy day. Then he tried a fragrance that has a scent like autumn and winter.
In particular, Sunoo avoids sweet smells such as cake, caramel or dessert. While the flagship fragrance always has a characteristic such as the smell of the sea or nature.
"Personally if I see 'sea' or 'green' I have a good feeling," said Sunoo.
Based on the explanation, 'green' smells like freshly trimmed grass which makes Sunoo even more excited to mix scents to be like his favorite perfume from other brands. But when it came to the aroma of the powder, the 2003-born idol chose to withdraw. When he smelled the scent of the oak tree, he fell in love.
There are at least 30 scents that have been tried so Sunoo needs to restore his sense of smell with coffee beans. According to him, smelling the aroma of coffee beans is good for relieving the smell, so he often does it.
"I've made my choice. Bergamot, mandarin, yuja, citrus fruit, cassis. I was told that the smells would mix if (the samples) were shaken together. It's... a fresh scent. will last. But I like it," explained Sunoo.
"I think I'll use six of these. This one is more like a winter scent. Then add a little lavender, so it smells like summer. Then, the woody aroma should be more intense," he continued.
In conclusion, Sunoo mixes scents of fresh fruits such as citrus, lavender, musk, and oak. He wants a perfume that smells fresh when first kissed but still leaves a warm impression when the perfume slowly begins to fade.
