IVE's first win on 'Show Champion' apparently caught the attention of netizens on the online community site TheQoo. Not a few of them congratulated.
IVE made their debut on December 1 with the single album "ELEVEN" and won the first win on the music program "Show Champion" on Wednesday (8/12). Along with IVE's first win, their encore stage also caught the attention of netizens.
IVE set a new record as the girl group that won the fastest victory over ITZY. They were nominated for first place even though they are still a 7-day-old rookie group. They set a new record for the fastest win since debut (7 days), beating ITZY's record with "Dalla Dalla" in 2019 (9 days).
IVE has proven their solid ability and talent through their debut stage. The girl group made by Starship Entertainment presented high-quality performances and an attractive debut song, combining the team's identity well.
IVE's first win on "Show Champion" apparently caught the attention of netizens on the online community site TheQoo. Not a few of them congratulated and understood the members who cried until they were unable to sing.
"Congratulations to IVE. I think they will be a big hit with their next album, keke," commented netizens. "Who is the blonde girl? In that situation, she sings well and her voice is stable," said another netizen.
"I really like IVE, their songs are very good and all the members are beautiful and charming," praised netizens. "It seems that Yujin has endured a lot of pressure as a leader. You did very well, congratulations," added another.
"Damn troll encores. Do you want to whine about encores when they cry like that? You have no sympathy," defended netizens. "They are good at singing live. Every idol fan knows that if you can't sing, it's normal when idols cry," added another.
Meanwhile, IVE entered the top of the real-time charts of major domestic music sites such as Melon and Bugs, and its music video surpassed 30 million views in just four days after its release. They also took No. 22 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and No. 185 on the Spotify Global Top 200 chart. (wk/dewi)
