Joo Ji Hoon Wants to Play His Character in 'Princess Hours' Again, Why?

During an interview recently, Joo Ji Hoon admitted that he wanted to play his character in the drama 'Princess Hours' again. Check out the full reasons below.

Recently, Joo Ji Hoon did a photo shoot as well as an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine. On this occasion, he expressed his desire to return to the role of Crown Prince Lee Shin in the hit drama "Princess Hours".

As is known, "Princess Hours" is Joo Ji Hoon's debut drama that aired in 2006. He plays Crown Prince Lee Shin, the heir to the modern Korean Empire who finally gives up the throne to his older sister.

The drama was a huge success, both in South Korea and abroad. Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye as the main characters also achieved tremendous popularity.

As if he had failed to move on, Joo Ji Hoon admitted that he wanted to play Crown Prince Lee Shin when asked which role in his filmography he would like to play again. Joo Ji Hoon confessed that he wanted to improve his acting in the drama.

He said, "That was the time when I was the most immature and didn't have enough experience. I've become more mature than I was then, so I thought I should give it another try."

The words seem to be related to the criticism he received for his past acting. He revealed this when appearing on "Yoo Quiz on the Block" last month.

"There were times when I didn't want to go to the set ('Princess Hours')," he said. "I was just thinking about how many curses I would receive until the end of the day."

Meanwhile, "Princess Hours" was produced based on a popular manhwa so it received great attention even before the drama was broadcast. At that time Joo Ji Hoon was a rookie actor without an impressive filmography, so he was often underestimated.

After the drama experienced tremendous success, the public's view of Joo Ji Hoon began to change. His awkward acting as Crown Prince Lee Shin is also considered very suitable for the character.

"He was awkward at the time, but it seemed more suited to his role," said a netizen. "I hope to see Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye as the main characters again," added another netizen.

"The acting is a little awkward. But it makes me feel the unstable appearance of the Crown Prince and Princess couple in their teens," another netizen commented. (wk/eval)
