BTS won 3 titles at the same time at the 2021 People's Choice Awards

The progress and popularity of the Bangtan Boys aka BTS boy group throughout 2021 is increasingly being recognized on the world stage. They have won a number of awards or records at the global level.

Most recently, the group under the auspices of HYBE Labels successfully won three trophies at the same time at the '2021 People's Choice Awards' which took place on December 7, 2021 in Santa Monica, California!

Unfortunately, BTS members were unable to attend the ceremony in person as they are currently on hiatus or on sabbatical.

The first and most prestigious title that was achieved by the 7-member group was their victory for the title of 'The Group of 2021' or the best musician in the form of a group this year.

In this category, BTS managed to beat a number of big names such as Imagine Dragons, The Jonas Brothers, Dan and Shay, Maroon 5, to the band that had just invited them to collaborate, namely Coldplay.

Furthermore, the hit single which is also their second full English song "Butter" was awarded as 'The Song of 2021'.

Not only that, the video clip for the single 'Butter' which as of this writing has been watched more than 636 million times, has succeeded in increasing the number of BTS trophies by winning the category 'The Music Video of 2021'.

This achievement is certainly extraordinary considering that the People's Choice Awards are arguably one of the most prestigious awards for the modern entertainment industry, involving the general public from various parts of the world as voters. Well, congrats to BTS on the win. /celebrities.id
