Ahead of Kep1er's Debut, Shen Xiaoting and Sakamoto Mashiro Positive for COVID-19

Xiaoting and Mashiro's test results were announced today, Tuesday (14/12). In an official statement, WAKEONE Entertainment and Swing Entertainment also announced the results of the other members' tests.


Shocking news comes from the girl group Kep1er who will be making their debut in the near future. Two of its members, Shen Xiaoting and Sakamoto Mashiro, have tested positive for COVID-19.

This was announced today, Tuesday (14/12) by the Kep1er agency. In their official statement, WAKEONE Entertainment and Swing Entertainment also announced the results of the other Kep1er members' tests.

"Hello, this is WAKEONE Entertainment and Swing Entertainment. We regret to inform you that starting today (December 14), Kep1er members Xiaoting and Mashiro have tested positive for COVID-19 without symptoms," the agency said.

It was revealed that on December 5, due to the positive diagnosis of the onsite staff for COVID-19, the agency notified that all the members and staff had been pre-tested for COVID-19 and received a negative test.

Since then, the agency has requested regular PCR testing as a measure for the health and safety of the artist and staff. In the process, Xiaoting and Mashiro were informed of the positive results for their COVID-19 tests.

Other Kep1er members tested negative with no signs of symptoms or infection such as fever or respiratory illness. All relevant staff have also been notified of the negative results. Currently, Kep1er has canceled all scheduled events to take the necessary steps.

"Considering the health and safety of our artists and staff as a top priority, we will fully comply with the instructions and procedures set by the authorities. We will do our best to support Xiaoting and Mashiro for their recovery. We once again apologize to fans and related parties. for this situation," said the agency.
