Two new Korean dramas, 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy' and 'IDOL: The Coup' have aired their first episode.
On Monday (08/11) yesterday, the drama 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy' has aired its first episode on tvN.
According to data released by Nielsen Korea, the first episode of the drama starring 2PM's Taecyeon and Kim Hye Yoon received an average rating of 4.9%, a promising rating for the first episode of a cable television drama.
On the other hand, the drama 'IDOL: The Coup' also aired its first episode on JTBC with a rating of 0.75%.
This K-Pop idol-themed drama stars EXID's Hani, Kwak Si Yang, Kim Min Kyu, LABOUM's Solbin, and many more.
Meanwhile, the drama 'The King's Affection' on SBS managed to record their highest rating on the same night after achieving an average rating of 7.8%, 0.2% higher than their previous highest rating. (www.kpopchart.net)
