Director Hwang Dong Hyuk confirmed that he will be preparing for the new season of 'Squid Game'.
This was conveyed directly by director Hwang Dong Hyuk when interviewed by the Associated Press media.
In the interview the director said, “There was a lot of demand, pressure and love for the second season. It felt like I had no other choice. The next season is already in my head.”
He continued, “Right now, I'm in the planning stage. It's too early to say when and how it will come out. But I can promise this. The main character, Gi Hun, will come back and do something for the world.”
Although the production team has previously given hints about the latest season of 'Squid Game', this is the first time the director has publicly reported about the second season of the popular series.
