Chinese singer and actor Kris Wu was arrested by police in Beijing on August 16, 2021. He is suspected of raping and sexually assaulting underage women.
Over the past two weeks, the Beijing police investigated Kris Wu on charges of sexual assault and threats. Currently, the actor is also imprisoned in Chaoyang.
According to Allkpop, Tuesday (17/8/2021), the police have not yet brought the case to court. However, Kris Wu could not get out of prison and had to continue to undergo investigations.
Earlier this year, Kris Wu was accused by a netizen named Du Meizhu of inviting female victims for interviews or auditions at his home, then forcing them to have sexual intercourse.
