Some time ago, IZ*ONE was predicted to be reunited after disbanding since last April. Unfortunately, IZ*ONE's idea of getting back together has yet to materialize.
Previously, IZ * ONE was rumored to be reuniting as a group after disbanding since last April. But apparently the hope of WIZ*ONE (as IZ*ONE fans) is just wishful thinking.
On Tuesday (6/7), a representative of CJ ENM met with Edaily and stated, "Until now, we discussed with the agency while leaving several options open for consideration, but (IZ*ONE's reunion) ultimately failed."
Apparently the discussions between several parties did not find a bright spot. Until in the end the hope to reunite IZ*ONE had to just float away. However, fans are expected to continue to support the activities of each former member.
"Regardless of whether they get back together or not, please continue to show lots of encouragement and support for the members' future," added CJ ENM.
The idea of an IZ*ONE reunion was born because fans were crowdfunding to raise funds so they could get back together. Knowing the fans' strong desire, CJ ENM finally decided to initiate the return of IZ*ONE as a group by re-opening discussions with the members' agencies concerned.
Although moved by the fundraising, CJ ENM previously promised that they would not use fans' money. With the wishes of fans for their return, CJ ENM is very grateful.
As is known, IZ * ONE was formed in 2018 as a temporary group as a result of the Mnet survival program "Produce 48". The twelve members debuted together in October 2018 marking the beginning of a two-and-a-half year contract.
Despite being a temporary group, IZ*ONE managed to steal the hearts of many fans through the songs they released. Kwon Eunbi cs has managed to set a record through the number of fantastic physical album sales. Thus making them one of the girl groups with the most album sales.
Currently, each member of IZ*ONE has been busy with their personal activities. One of them is Miyawaki Sakura who just held her graduation concert from HKT48, the sister group of AKB48. (wk/inta)
