The separation of Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young) and Myeol Mang (Seo In Guk) finally happened. This is as feared.

But they weren't the only ones embarking on a new journey. Na Ji Na (Shin Do Hyun), Lee Hyun Kyu (Kang Tae Oh), and Cha Joo Ik (Lee Soo Hyuk) also have painful steps to take as they return and grow from the past.
Without further ado, as reported by Soompi on Sunday (27/6/2021), here are three farewells to this week's devastating episode of Doom At Your Service.
1. Lee Hyun Kyu and Na Ji Na
It's a relationship that's hard to understand, especially since it doesn't get much time in Hyun Kyu's head.
Joo Ik likes him, but sees him as a selfish child who values his ego above all else. Meanwhile, Na Ji Na idolizes him as a perfect first love. Unfortunately, the truth is he's just an insecure high school student who messed up his chances for a good future career and doesn't know what to do. Not a saint, but not a terrible person either.
Ji Na and Hyun Kyu have gone through all the stages of grief from their ending relationship, his anger at Hyun Kyu, depression and acceptance that the relationship isn't working, but Hyun Kyu has gone through it too.
2. Lee Hyun Kyu and Cha Joo Ik
Kang Tae Oh couldn't rest with all this sad farewell. Not long after realizing that he has to give up his first love, Hyun Kyu also realizes that he has to stop living with Joo Ik if he wants to stand on his own two feet.
He allowed himself to depend on Joo Ik for so long and it made him a 'dwarf'. The sad thing is that Joo Ik clearly doesn't want him to leave. It was like a parent watching their child spread their wings for the first time, sad at the end of time but proud of the steps they took.
3. Myeol Mang and Dong Kyung
How nice it was to see Dong Kyung and Myeol Mang fascinated with each other again, the amnesia of the last two episodes fizzled out so quickly, the question arose as to why plot devices were used in the first place. There seem to be two main reasons. First, to show that Dong Kyung and Myeol Mang were always meant to find each other's way and second, they were unable to escape the devil's bargain they made.
These two episodes also feel like cycling through stages of grief. First, rejection with Dong Kyung causes amnesia. Then, he goes straight past the anger and into the bargain, pleading with Sonyeoshin (Jung Ji So) and asking if there is anything he can do.
Then comes depression, where a girl who rarely cries struggles to stop crying every time she sees Myeol Mang and knows she has to leave him. /celebrities.id
